Weeping Rock
Gabby with some of her girlfriends and
her Teacher Mrs. Sizemore on the hiking
trail on the way up to "weeping rock"
Weeping Rock is a really cool rock where
continous water "weeps" out of the alcove.
it is a half mile hike there and back and is a
little mossy and the steps are wet from all
the water dripping. The kids all thought
it was "way Cool!" some even took rain
coats... you really do get wet!

This was the 200-meter-relay, Remy placed 2nd in this one.
he does a lot better in the shorter races.
It was a very windy day today, Lance and I spent most the day up at the school,
Lance got drafted to help out with the broad jump.
Remy's distance on the broad jump was 61" and 63 1/2"
what a little stud!

Sunset Express
for those of you who don't know, Gabby is in a choir
called "Sunset Express" they practice every tues, wed and thurs for an hour before school...every week. shes pretty dedicated. and they are a pretty big deal around here. they sing at a lot of events like Swiss Days, The Dicken's Festival, The Grand Opening of our New Town Square... ect.
this performance was at Tuachan (Tuachan is a high school here for the performing arts... It's where they also have "Broadway in the Desert") the theme of the show was safety, Gabby's group "sunset express" was right up front and center (they are in the light blue, Gabby is the first girl on the left in the second row back...obviously right?) At this performance all the school choirs got together they all sang a bunch of song as a group then individually.. Sunset Express sang about stranger danger...
Lance and I are really proud of her! I swear, with Bryant playing guitar, Remy on drums and Gabby singing we have ourselves a

modern day Partridge family in the making! only thing missing is that sweet bus!
Bryant is really Good on the Guitar by the way, he has a band they practice every Friday, he is writing his own songs and tearing it up on the guitar! the picture of him from Easter below was him playing one of the songs he wrote for us... it was really goood! no lyrics yet, just the music.
and as for Remy...He got a drum set for Christmas from Bryant and Grandpa Scotty, he loves it but needs to start taking lessons. luckily Bryant knows how to play the drums too, so he has taught Remy some stuff and Grandpa Scotty says Remy has a natural talent for the drums
because whenever he is out at Grandpa's house he is always out in the band room jammin on the drums...thats kinda why Bry and Grandpa got them for him for Christmas...plus if Bry ever needs a drummer for his band, he'll have one!

Ahhh Spring...
I have "spring fever" so bad!!!! It is so nice to have the sun shining, the doors open letting in the fresh air, the kids outside playing, riding bikes, squirting each other with squirt guns, all that fun stuff that comes with spring...sit back and enjoy it while you can because before you know it, it's gonna get hot!
We had a really fun Easter this year the kids were lucky enough to go to 3 Easter egg hunts!!! The day before Easter we took the kids downtown to the art festival then we had a BBQ and egg hunt at our house with my family. On Easter Sunday we went out to Grandma and Grandpa Watkins for dinner and another Easter egg hunt! the kids just love to play with their cousins... Ahhhh Spring

Getting Started...
Hi Everyone,
I am finally starting a blog to try to keep our family and friends up to date with what is going on with our family... we are always so busy and as you know I am not the best at keeping in touch, come on now, you know how it is...
but hopefully this will help. this is my first attempt at putting up a blog, so bear with me until I get the hang of it... I hope to update it monthly for those of you who would like to see what we are up to...
